Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the Siyaq website and law firm management platform. By using the service, you agree to these terms.

Use of the Service

Siyaq must be used for lawful purposes connected to managing law firm operations, without violating laws, third-party rights, or platform security.

You are responsible for the accuracy of data you enter and for obtaining any required approvals from clients or firm members before adding their data to the system.

Accounts and Permissions

You must keep login credentials confidential and not share them with unauthorized people. Activity through your account or team accounts is your responsibility.

Siyaq provides tools to manage roles and permissions, and the firm owner should configure them according to firm policy and data sensitivity.

Data Ownership

Firm, client, case, hearing, document, and payment data entered by users in the Siyaq system remains owned by the user or firm that owns the account, and ownership does not transfer to Siyaq.

Siyaq does not own this data and uses it only as needed to provide the service, operate platform features, maintain backups, provide technical support, and improve security and performance.

The firm owner may export a copy of the firm data available in the account at any time from inside the system.

Subscriptions and Payment

Siyaq may offer free, trial, or paid plans. Prices, limits, and features are shown on the pricing page or inside the platform before subscription.

Prices or plan features may change in the future, and we will notify users of material changes through an appropriate method, such as email or an in-system notice, before or when they apply whenever appropriate.

Subscription Expiry or Non-Payment

After a subscription expires or payment is not made, the account enters read-only mode. Firm team users can view all firm data, including cases, clients, hearings, documents, and financial records.

In read-only mode, users cannot add new data, edit existing data, or create new cases, documents, or users until the subscription is renewed or the payment issue is resolved.

Read access after subscription expiry does not mean paid features remain available, and the access period may be subject to the active data retention and subscription policies.

Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel a subscription at any time, and access to paid plan features continues until the end of the current paid period.

Fees already paid are non-refundable for the current period.

Cancellation does not automatically delete firm data, and data may remain retained or accessible according to the subscription expiry policy and data retention policy.

Acceptable Use

You may not misuse the service, including attempting to breach, disrupt, or copy it without authorization, sending harmful content, or using the platform to store unlawful data.

We may suspend or limit access if we identify use that threatens the service, violates these terms, or puts other users at risk.

Limits of Liability

Siyaq is a technical work management tool and does not provide legal or accounting advice. Professional and legal decisions remain the responsibility of the firm and firm team users.

We aim to provide a stable and secure service, but interruptions, errors, or maintenance may occur. We do not guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or completely error-free.

Changes and Contact

We may update these terms from time to time, and the latest update date will appear at the top of this page. Continuing to use the service after an update means you accept the revised terms.

For questions about these terms, you can contact us through the contact page on the website.
